  • Florida exports to Taiwan totaled $220 million in 2022, making Taiwan Florida’s 53rd largest export market. Leading export commodities include vaccines, ferrous waste & scrap, civilian aircraft, and aluminum waste & scrap.
  • Florida imports from Taiwan totaled $1,068 million in 2022, making Taiwan Florida’s 28th largest source import source market. Leading import commodities include yachts, metal fasteners, car parts, and medical instruments.

  • Based on the most recent statistics from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, Taiwan is the 27th largest foreign direct investor in Florida, with Taiwanese-owned affiliates accounting for more than 400 Florida jobs.
  • Asia-Pacific Ranking: Taiwan is also the 7th largest Asia-Pacific investor in Florida, following Singapore and South Korea.
  • Taiwanese affiliates in Florida were estimated to have total holdings of USD $107.8 million in gross property, plant, and equipment in 2020.
